However, please note that due to the space I have available I don’t think it’s fair to board large dogs as I believe they should have a bigger space available to them.

ABOUT ME
I grew up around cats but it wasn’t until I was an adult that I discovered the love for dogs! My eldest son was going through a hard time and I heard that dogs could help. My husband, having grown up with a cocker spaniel, agreed to have another. That cocker spaniel is now 13 and the best decision we ever made! Honey is a big feature of Dog Tails. We have attended the Kennel Club Good Citizenship Scheme, where Honey gained her Gold. We have also started sniffer dog training and enjoy mantrailing! Our most recent passion is canicross. If your dog is used to running, I am more than happy for them to join us on our runs.
As well as this I have helped by fostering dogs and getting them ready for adoption. I have had excitable, pleased to be here right through to don’t come near me dogs. Each dog has their very own unique personality and I will always take time to get to know them!
Dog Tails was Founded in July 2021. Before this, I spent 7 years working in the education section supporting children to achieve their potential. A job I loved but deep down I always wanted to be with dogs.
My household is made up of 5 humans, 2 Dogs and 2 Cats. I have three boys ranging from 13 years to 18 years old. As well as Honey we also have a cocker spaniel called Cody who is now 2 years old. He also enjoys mantrailing and canicross. Being the younger dog he is the one that will play with other dogs during their visits.

Do you need to go to the office one day a week? Do you have a day trip planned which isn’t suitable for your dog? Do you just want your dog to spend the day socialising with other dogs? Well day care sounds just what you are after. I have regular day care dogs that attend every week and I have others that dip in and out when needed. Due to the size of my car and garden I only have space for small/medium dogs. This is a very popular service so please book in advance. This service is £25 per day. It includes up to 2 walks (sometimes 2 is too many!) lots of fuss, love and play!

HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?
I usually take up to 6 dogs on a group walk. All dogs are matched by personalities to make sure they have the best fun! I have the use of 6 GPS trackers for added security.

MY DOG IS NOT NEUTERED IS THAT OK?
Unfortunately I do not take entire male dogs after 8 months old. Female dogs can not attend whilst in season.
WHAT VACCINATIONS DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND DOG TAILS?
All dogs need to have had their annual vaccinations including the kennel cough spray that and flea and worm treatment prior to their visit. Proof will be required for records.
As a ‘smother’ I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my boy. I trust Sally implicitly with my dog and know she will always look after him as if he were her own. Sparks loves his time at dog tails and always comes home happy and full of smiles… and of course tired. Couldn’t recommend Sally enough.

Recommending Dog Tails is easy to do, there is so much love, care, attention & fun going on I’m pretty sure our little lady didn’t even miss us!!! Sally & her family really do have the home from home feeling, keeping us update with texts and photos is a lovely touch too 🐶

Today was Pip’s first day at Dog Tails for doggy daycare and she loved it! My mind is at ease when i’m at work knowing Pip is in such loving, caring and professional hands with Sally. Pip got to spend the day with lots of other friendly dogs and we can’t thank Sally enough for it❤️ Wednesday’s will definitely be Pip’s favourite day of the week!!

Sally always goes the extra mile! We have 2 staffies and Sally often looks after or visits them for us. After getting a puppy during lockdown we were worried she wasn’t getting enough socialising time and we mentioned it to Sally. She offered to take our youngest for the day and provided a puppy play session! She always offers the best advice and will go out of her way to get advice if she isn’t sure. We wouldn’t be without her ❤️
